This part-time position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, safe, and spiritually enriching environment for young children and their families at CCC Kids. This leader is responsible for providing support, encouragement, and strong leadership to the volunteer team serving in the Early Childhood area.
This full-time role is a part of Christ Community Church’s college ministry. This person will work to serve, support, and carry out the greater mission and vision of CCC and of the College Community but with a specific focus on one or more college campus/demographic. They will work closely with the College Director and college staff to reach and disciple students who will multiply their faith, are committed to the local church, and involved in reaching the nations for a lifetime.
This is a Deputized Fundraising position where support is raised by the candidate.
Thursday and/or Friday mornings
Do you enjoy working with kids? Need some extra cash? Then doing childcare for the CCC MOPS or WBS program are definitely for you! We are looking for workers (16 years and older) who are energetic and like to be around little ones!
MOPS, which stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, is a ministry for moms of children ages birth through kindergarten. Lifelong friendships are made during MOPS. Childcare is provided 9–11:15 AM on Fridays.
Women’s Bible Study childcare is provided for women on Thursday mornings who are enrolled in WBS. Childcare is provided 9–11:15 AM on Thursdays.
A typical day in the childcare rooms include free play, curriculum and craft activity that is centered on Jesus, snack time, and indoor or outdoor playground depending on the weather. All craft and curriculum activities are provided to you by either the MOPS Steering Committee or the CCC Childcare Coordinator. You will read a story or present the curriculum to the children and help them with a craft or project that supports the story. Younger children will need diaper changes and potty breaks.
The pay is $14 per hour paid every 2 weeks. You can work weeks 1 & 3, weeks 2 & 4, or every week.
