Q&A Sunday

This weekend was Q&A Sunday at Christ Community Church, a unique opportunity where Pastor Mark answered live, text-in questions from the congregation. No scripts. No prep. Just honest responses to real questions about faith, the Bible, and the world we live in.
And the questions didn’t hold back.
We covered everything from science and faith, to communion and cremation, to how Christians should engage with Pride Month. One person even asked, “If God wrote a letter to Christ Community Church today like He did to the churches in Revelation, what would He say?”
Here’s a sample of the questions that came in:
- Do our loved ones who pass away watch over us?
- What age can kids take communion at CCC?
- Will science eventually explain away what we now call “supernatural”?
- What does the Bible say about cremation?
- Does CCC get audited? How are donations handled responsibly?
- How is our church equipping men to become Godly men?
- Who is Melchizedek?
- What is a biblical view of IVF?
- What ministries exist for those facing addiction, grief, or incarceration?
- What would God’s top encouragement and warning be for CCC today?
- What is CCC’s position on Omaha’s Tri-Faith Initiative?
- Should Christian families watch movies like Moana or Star Wars?
- How should we think about online-only church engagement?
- What does the Bible say about Artificial Intelligence?
- How should Christians respond to Pride Month? Attend parades? Boycott businesses? Something else?
Every service featured a unique set of questions, so if you only attended one, we encourage you to check out the others for even more thought-provoking discussion.
Thank you for being a church that wrestles honestly, asks boldly, and seeks truth together.
