Missions Sunday 2026

ALL OF JESUS
Everything begins with Jesus.
At the heart of the message is this reality: Jesus had everything, yet He made Himself nothing.
Philippians 2 shows us a Savior who did not cling to His rights or status, but willingly laid them down. He stepped into humanity, embraced humility, and became obedient even to death on a cross. He exchanged glory for suffering, honor for rejection, and power for sacrifice.
This was not taken from Him. It was given.
Jesus poured out His life so that we could receive life. Because of Him, we are made new, forgiven, restored, and brought into relationship with God. Salvation is not the end of the story, it is the beginning of a transformed life with Him.
It is, and always will be, all about Jesus.

FOR ALL THE WORLD
The mission of Jesus reaches further than we often realize, and closer than we expect.
Jesus did not come for crowds alone. He came for individuals. Every person carries a name, a story, and a deep need for Him.
Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus stop for the one. The overlooked. The outsider. The searching. The broken. His mission is personal.
The question that continues to echo is the same one Jesus asked His disciples: “Who do you say that I am?”
How someone answers that question shapes everything. It does not change who Jesus is, but it changes everything about who we are becoming.
Jesus is still meeting people right where they are. Still inviting them into truth, grace, and transformation.
And His invitation extends to every single person.

WILL TAKE ALL OF US
If Jesus gave everything, then following Him calls for a response.
The mission of Jesus is not carried by a few, but by all who belong to Him.
Living on mission often begins with a simple but powerful posture: a willingness to say yes to whatever God asks. That kind of surrender may lead to unexpected places, stretch comfort zones, and require letting go of things we once held tightly.
But obedience is where transformation happens.
God does not just want to work through us. He wants to work in us. And as He shapes our hearts, He invites us to join Him in what He is already doing around us.
Because reaching the world with the message of Jesus will take the participation of every believer.
JESUS AT WORK
Jesus is not distant or inactive. He is present and moving.
He is drawing people to Himself, opening doors for conversations, changing hearts, and bringing clarity in the middle of uncertainty. He works through simple moments of obedience, unexpected encounters, and ordinary faithfulness.
Sometimes His work looks like a life completely transformed. Other times it looks like one small step closer to Him.
But He is always at work.
And the invitation remains open: to trust Him, to follow Him, and to be part of His mission in the world.
