The Truth about Poverty is a three-month lunch series featuring city leaders who will share about poverty, its effects on people, and what’s being done to combat hopelessness in North Omaha.

July 13 / John Parsons is the founder of Omaha Street School and Bridges out of Poverty. Come hear John as he helps you expand your view of poverty and dispels some common myths.

August 17 / Myron Pierce, pastor of Mission Church in Village One, will share the realities of poverty in the Village One neighborhoods and its impact on families, single moms, and those who were previously incarcerated.
