CCC began a partnership with the Cuban C&MA church in 2018. The desire of this partnership is to come alongside the Cuban church and support them in the mighty work that God is doing there. In 2018, the Cuban C&MA had 72 churches with a God-sized dream to have 120 churches by 2020. CCC is excited about this dream and seeking to assist the Cuban C&MA in raising up new and well-trained pastors for these churches.
As a result, CCC has engaged in a partnership in Cuba that includes the following work:
CCC is committed to helping the Cuban church develop and raise up pastors for these 120 churches by helping them develop pastoral training centers in each of the three primary regions of the island. The first step took place in 2018, when CCC provided resources to assist with the purchase of property near the C&MA headquarters in Havana. This property is one of several properties that will be key to the expansion of a pastoral training center in the West region.
Sending International Workers
In 2019 CCC has been blessed to send new workers, Dan and Jocelyn Medrano, to assist in the new, emerging Cuba ministry for CCC, as well as all churches in the USA. Dan and Jocelyn’s primary role is to setup short-term mission trips for US churches and lead those teams into Cuba. The Medranos will be in this role through the end of 2021.
CCC has developed a direct partnership with a small C&MA church near Havana. This church, located in a very poor part of the city, has a passion to show the hope and love of Jesus. CCC is committed to a partnership where we pray for them, visit them, and invest in them in ways that help them advance their ministry.
