Men, it’s not too late to register for the 2015 Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Equipping Conference on Saturday, February 21st from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at King of Kings Church. They have arranged a great lineup of National and Regional Speakers including Coach Ron Brown who will have a breakout session for young men ages 13 to 19. Ron will also be speaking to all of the men later in the afternoon. Update From The Manger Build
The manger build last week was a great event for dad’s and their children. Last Wednesday night 62 were built and 113 this past Sunday morning meaning 175 families were blessed. One little girl was asked by her parents the best part of Sunday’s Christmas festivities at the church and it was building a manger for baby Jesus over a live nativity and ice cream! Dads were given a devotional to lead the family in during the week of Christmas that revolves around the shared experience of building the manger.
If you missed building a manger with your children there are leftover kits available this Saturday morning during the Morning in Bethlehem at Christ Community Church. A $10 donation per kit is encouraged.
The Manger Build - Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014
A great opportunity to be an intentional Dad. Build a life-sized manger with your children that you can use to remind your family about the truth of Christmas. Be a hero as you spend quality time with your kids, and lead your family in keeping Christ in Christmas. Stop in anytime between 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Building the manger will take approximately 30 minutes. Materials and a free devotional will be provided.
Who: The men of the church building Christmas mangers with their children and children of the church.
What: The Manger build is designed to help men lead in a fun activity, then in family devotions that celebrate Christ.
When: Sunday, Dec. 7, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Christ Community Church.
Where: The newly purchased Porch building.
Why: It engages men by getting their attention, equips them with practical resources and encourages them to lead. This is a powerful tool to build men and progresses this way; building mangers –builds men-builds the church-advances the Kingdom!
How: The Men’s Leadership Team is required to execute an excellent event. We need the courageous leadership of all the men on the team in order to glorify God.

Iron Sharpens Iron Conference is coming to Omaha February 22
Iron Sharpens Iron is a Conference Network made up of individual ministries that are working interdependently to most effectively offer local church resources for men.
We are doing this by mobilizing ministries to resource local churches with a first class one-day equipping conference that is designed for men (age 13 and older).
