Stampede is coming...
I hope your student is already signed up for a small group and you may have already heard our schpeel about why small groups are so important in our ministry. But I'll take the opportunity to say it again because it bears repeating.
We deeply believe that every student needs a spiritual coach and our small groups are the only way that we can provide that for every student. Just coming to WIRED on Sunday mornings and the events is not enough to fully disciple your student. If that's all you can do, then it's better than nothing. However, if it is at all possible, your student needs to be connected to a small group. Most parents would bend over backwards to give their student a great basketball, tennis, or violin coach, so I am a little confounded when these same parents don't see enough value in a good spiritual coach to make it happen.
We are wrapping up the early sign up phase of the small groups this Sunday, so download the form in the "buzz" section and get it to us this Sunday if you haven't signed up yet. If you're reading this after August 31, it is never too late to join a small group. Get in touch with us or just show up on Sunday nights beginning Sept. 7 and we'll do everything we can to add your student to the best small group available.
